The 14thInternational Conference on Emergency Medicine will take place from 27thto 30thJune 2012 in the newly opened Dublin Convention Centre in Dublin’s Docklands. Delegates from Emergency Medicine and related disciplines from all over the world to Dublin are welcomed to what promises to be an excellent conference held in the convivial environment for which Ireland is justifiably famous.
ICEM 2012 will consist of a high quality international scientific conference programme with multiple tracks and a full supporting social programme.

The theme of ICEM 2012 is ‘Bridging the Gap between Evidence and Practice’. We have created an innovative academic programme which is based on the patient’s journey through the emergency care system and we aim to deliver up-to-date evidence-based reviews coupled with original research of high quality. Key Dates
The Scientific Committee of the 14th International Conference on Emergency Medicine invites colleagues to submit abstracts to be considered for presentation at the Conference in Dublin in June 2012. Abstracts in the following areas of emergency care are invited:
• Pre-hospital and Disaster Medicine including Military Medicine;
• Triage and Rapid Assessment;
• Resuscitation and Trauma;
• Paediatric Emergency Medicine;
• Clinician Decision Unit Care;
• Office/Administration/Education;
• Technology in Emergency Medicine;
• Research in Emergency Medicine;
• Overcrowding in Emergency Medicine;
• International and Humanitarian Emergency Medicine or
• Any other issues relevant to Emergency Medicine.
Closing Date for abstract submissions is: 1700 (GMT), Thursday 22nd December 2011. No abstract will be considered after the closing date. Please note that presenting authors whose abstract are accepted MUST be paid registrants.
